Steve Parker leads A6Outcomes in Glenview as a career Army officer turned strategic advisor who understands veteran outcomes at ground level and at national scale. His service spans combat command in Iraq, assignments in Germany, Kuwait, Korea, and Africa, and senior roles in Washington, DC, including selection as a White House Fellow.
As Executive Director of Joining Forces in the Obama White House, Steve guided efforts that improved employment, education, and wellness for military and veteran families. He later served as Senior Military Advisor to the Africa Center for Strategic Studies, directing education programs across 25 African countries, which sharpened his ability to align complex stakeholders around clear results.
In the private sector, Steve helped launch and lead WorkMerk, a veteran-owned SaaS company, growing it between pre-revenue and nearly 2 million dollars in sales and government innovation awards. He then became Managing Director at Laurel Strategies, advising global CEOs on leadership, reputation, and impact.
Today, Steve pairs that background with active nonprofit board service at Anixter Center, Our Community Salutes, VetJobs, and Military Spouse Jobs.
